Dannii Minogue has given birth to a baby boy, named Ethan Edward Smith.
The X Factor judge gave birth in Melbourne on Monday 5 July, but managed to keep the good news a secret for two days. Boyfriend Kris Smith was at her side.
Big sister Kylie spent Monday in Ibiza promoting her new album, Aphrodite, but is expected to fly home in the next week to meet her new nephew.
Dannii has been based in Australia for several months in preparation for the birth, but right up until the last minute she was writing on her Twitter page how much she is missing Britain. "Looking forward to catching up on X Factor auditions. Can’t wait to see Simon, Cheryl and Louis again soon – miss them very much."
The birth came just a week after the couple moved into their new £1 million mansion in Melbourne.

She’s technically already married, but that didn’t stop Katie Price having a hen party before her second wedding to hubby Alex Reid.
The former glamour model and her pals celebrated at London’s May Fair hotel, but it wasn’t as much of a knees-up as you might expect – the bride-to-be reportedly shunned all booze and, despite being the guest of honour, drove her friends home at the end of the night.
On the night, Katie showed off a cake with a Barbie in a pink, frilly wedding dress – a hint at what she’ll wear at her wedding at the weekend, perhaps?
The 32-year-old reality TV star secretly married cage fighter Alex in Las Vegas earlier this year, but they are having a blessing in the UK to share their happiness with friends and family.

Amy Winehouse has reportedly asked her new boyfriend to move into her new home, despite the fact they’ve only been dating for a few weeks.
The singer hasn’t been in a relationship with film director Reg Traviss for long, but he has already won the approval of her parents. Her mother Janis has even claimed Amy is “a little girl in love”.
Now it has been reported by Heatworld that Reg will be moving into Amy’s new home in Camden with her because she dislikes being alone.
The 26-year-old was previously married to Blake Fielder-Civil, but their union was marred with controversy over their drug abuse. Amy’s father Mitch famously disliked his son-in-law, but seems to have taken a shine to Reg, even referring to him as “a really nice chap”.
Let’s hope it works out this time for Amy!

Former Big Brother contestant Chanelle Hayes has allegedly ended her romance with Jack Tweed.
The Daily Mail has reported that the 22-year-old has grown tired of Jack’s partying, especially after he was spotted leaving a club recently with another woman. Chanelle is pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Matthew Bates’ child and started seeing Jack, Jade Goody’s widow, earlier this year.
The pair have been seeing each other for a few months, and despite sticking together through her pregnancy and his recent rape trial (of which he was acquitted), it seems they weren’t meant to last.
Chanelle and Jack aren’t the only celeb couple to have split over the past few days – Kelly Brook has split from Danny Cipriani, Prince Harry’s relationship with Chelsy Davy has come to an end and Leona Lewis has parted ways with her childhood sweetheart.

Katie Price has been a model, a businesswoman, a mother and a TV star and now she is to become a recording artist.
The 32-year-old announced she will be releasing her debut solo single next month via her Twitter page: “I can at last reveal my first solo single is out Monday 12 July. I love the tune and hope you guys do too xxx.”
This isn’t the first time she has dabbled in the music industry. Back in 2005 she was in the running to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest for the United Kingdom, and she had an album with her ex-husband Peter Andre entitled A Whole New World. However, those attempts to get her foot in the musical door failed, after the album debuted in the charts at number 20 and her Eurovision dream came to an end after losing out to Javine.
Will she succeed this time around?

She’s the world’s biggest pop star, she wears the craziest outfits ever and she is currently embarking on a huge world tour, so you’d be forgiven for assuming Lady Gaga is indestructible. However, she has recently shed light on the family disease that she may have too.
Last week, Lady Gaga admitted to The Times that her aunt died of lupus, and that she herself also has suffered from “heart palpitations” and “fatigue”. Fans have been worried about the Bad Romance singer, but in an interview with CNN’s Larry King, she said she “doesn’t show any of the signs of the disease”.
However, she revealed she has been “tested borderline positive for the disease” but claims she takes good care of herself.
The American star, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, has previously stated she would rather “die on stage” than leave it because she felt ill. She recently collapsed on stage in New Zealand, but refused to leave.

Jonathan Ross is reportedly ending his time at the BBC by having Russell Brand on his sofa for a chinwag.
The final episode of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross will be recorded on 17 June, and the pair will no doubt be discussing their infamous radio incident, better known as Sachsgate.
In 2008 Jonathan and Russell received thousands of complaints after performing a prank on Russell’s radio show. The presenters phoned Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs and left a message on his machine, sharing lewd details of Russell’s fling with his granddaughter Georgina Baillie. Jonathan was suspended for three months and Russell moved to LA.
Jonathan is leaving the BBC after a 13-year run – at least he can end it with a bang!
